"A battle cry! Anthemic and confrontational, protest songs for modern times."

 Original Rock

Three pieces. One hell of a noise.

Born in Cornwall, sharpened in Kent, LiVES are the kind of band that rock needs — a visceral, white-knuckle collision of post-punk fury and hard rock precision that doesn't ask for your attention, it demands it.

Their critically acclaimed debut album Let Them Eat Cake, produced by the legendary John Cornfield (Oasis, Muse, Supergrass), arrived like a fist through a wall.

Fast, aggressive and socio-politically charged, the songs cut as deep as the riffs — unflinching social commentary delivered with the precision of modern poetry, channeling disillusionment with contemporary society into anthems that feel both furious and necessary.

Louder Than War called it "a nihilistic expression of anger and disillusionment."

Original Rock went further: "a battle cry — anthemic and confrontational, protest songs for modern times."

These aren't slogans. They're songs with something to say.

The national press agreed:

The Daily Mirror“swaggering, dark driven rock."

The Daily Express - “Brooding rock ’n’ roll with punk energy and hard rock finesse”

Rough Trade"fast, aggressive, loud and socio-politically charged."

Punktuation Magazine“furious screams and barbed wire riffs fuelled by righteous vitriol.”

Their track Just Can't Get Enough found a wider audience via its placement on the hit Netflix series Lucifer, but LiVES have always been a live proposition first — a band that earns its stripes on stage; a sold-out European headline tour in 2025, plus support slots alongside The Buzzcocks, Span and The Wildhearts, confirmed what anyone who's seen them already knew: this band is built for rooms that sweat.

With radio support from BBC 6 Music, Radio X and BBC Introducing already in the bag, LiVES return in summer 2026 with a brand new album set for release in the Autumn.

The anger hasn't gone anywhere. It's just been sharpened.
